Dies war wohl der erste “Transporter” von Auto Union !

Es war ein Horch 830 mit Hänger . Bruhn hatte damals ein enges Budge für das Rennteam und 6 Teamfahrzeuge um die Rennwagen plus Service material an die Rennstrecke zu bringen . Einer der 6 Servicewagen war dieser Horch  830 der mit einem Hänger die noch geheimen Silber Pfeile zu den Teststrecken und Rennen bringen sollte. Der ganze Rennzirkus nahm damals teil an den äußerst geheimnisvollen tun  - sogar die SA Truppen versteckten unter großem Aufwand die Auto Union Fahrzeuge  vor neugierigen Blicken .

Sein Nachfolger , der Büssingtransporter Typ 300  kam erst ein Jahr später , im Jahre 1934 .

The Horch 830 with a trailer . With Bruhn keeping a tight budget the team had 6 support vehicles at their disposal , to take the race cars and the material to the test and races . One of these 6 was the Horch 830 that was carrying the future Silver Arrow . The whole circus took place under the utmost secrecy - SA troops hid Auto Union’s efforts away from all too inquisitive eyes .

It took another year until the next race car transporter , the Büssing typ 300 came in 1934 .

Dies ist bislang das einzige Bild das ich gesehen habe , in dem man alle 3 der Büssing Transporter sehen kann . In solchen konvois war das Team oft Wochen unterwegs um im Rennzirkus dabei zu sein .

Der vordere Wagen ist wahrscheinlich ein Horch 780 B  . Der zweite einer der 3 Büssing Transporter gefolgt von einem Materialwagen und wieder zwei Büssing Transporter .

Dieses Bild wurde im Jahre 1935 aufgenommen .

This is the only picture I know where you can see all three of the Büssing transporter at once . In a convoy like this one the team was offten away from home for weeks to be part of the cicus .

The front car is most proberly a Horch 780 B . The seconde one of the transporter followed by a service truck and the other two transporter .
